* May 2011: Worcester Fluids Technology starts operations.
* May 2011: Worcester Fluids Technology opens an office in Auburn,
MA, U.S.A.
* May 2011: Worcester Fluids Technology signs a cooperation
agreement with Parkolin International, located in Florida,
U.S.A. This agreement expands the markets and
opportunities for both companies, particularly in the Latin
American market.
* June 2011: Worcester Fluids Technology agrees cooperation with CS
Tech, Inc, - Industrial Technical Consulting - Fluids &
Automation Systems, located in Florida, U.S.A.
* June 2011: Worcester Fluids Technology releases first official version
of the Automated Fluids System Design Tool (AFSDT).
A fully interactive Design Software for Lubrication,
Hydraulics, Cooling and Pneumatic Systems that links
Mechanical requirements with Fluids requirements,
calculates costs,engineering times and provides equipment
selection and design (including tanks, pumps, valves, heat
exchangers, accumulators, etc.).
* January 2012: Worcester Fluids Technology releases a new
calculation software for Descaler selection and design.
The program provides tools for selection of different steel
grades, billet types, shapes and rolling conditions.
* July 2012: Worcester Fluids Technology started the development of
a new Lubrication Test Standard to simulate actual
operating conditions in mill environment, including water
and air entrainment.
* August 2012: Worcester Fluids Technology signs an agreement with
Nortek, S.A. based in Spain for representation in North
America. The new company operates worldwide under
the name of U.S. Nortek, Inc. (a fully owned subsidiary of
Nortek, S.A.)
* May 2013: Worcester Fluids Technology developed a new filtration
system for high speed mills. The new system provides
higher efficiency in filtration, longer element life, lower
costs and reduced maintenance.
* December 2013: Worcester Fluids Technology opens a subsidiary in
Hong Kong (China) to serve the Asian market. The new
company is Worcester Fluids Technology Asia.
