About Us

In Worcester Fluids Technology we apply the experience and know-how gained throughout several years of engineering, research, development, installation and commissioning work in several industrial plants around the world, primarily in the steel industry.

 

Our select group of engineers and experts has worked for several years in high speed rolling mills around the world.   Many of these installations currently hold world records of production, operating speeds, highest yields and mill utilization.

 

Our team expertise in the areas of Fluids Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, Industrial Fluids systems, Mechanical equipment, Installation and Commissioning work is one of the best in the industry.

 

Each and every engineer has many years of experience in engineering design, installation and commissioning work as well in trouble shooting.

 

The company was founded in 2011, in Worcester, Massachusetts, U.S.A., by Senior Fluids Engineer Rafael Lazo, known in the industry for the development of the Smart Tank technology, developments in vacuum dehydration processes, developments in high speed cooling processes and related software and technics.  Mr. Lazo is currently the President and CEO of the company.


Since then, the company has grown into a well-known development center for fluids system and technologies that include the Standard Worcester Oil Behavior test (SWOBT), the new generation of high efficiency filter elements W5 for lubrication systems and the ultra-high-efficiency stripper nozzles for cooling and waxing systems.


Worcester Fluids Technology has also developed the most complete design software for industrial fluids systems providing design parameters, sizing of components and assemblies, system pricing, overall weights, performance evaluation and automated completion of fluids circuit diagrams (back and forth).
